Master violin maker Airi Tedo

Airi Tedo (born 1989 in Sendai, Japan) wanted to become a violin maker at a very young age.
After finishing highschool her childhood dream came true, and she made her first violin at the Daikanyama Music Academy in Tokyo.

Her way lead her to Munich, where she studied German for one year.

After that Airi started her violin making apprenticeship at violin maker master Markus Lützel in Würzburg and successfully took her journeyman’s examination at the violin making school in Mittenwald.
After 3 years as a journeyman at Markus Lützel she returned to Munich and is a firmly integrated member of our workshop team.

Now we can react even faster on urgent repairs and restaurations and perform them perfectly and prompt.

Since Airi is an outstanding violin player, it is especially important to her to adjust the sound of the instruments optimally.

Mrs. Airi Tedo has successfully passed her master violin maker examination in 2020.
